World renowned painter and sculptor, Gérard Le Roux was born on January 12 th 1942 in Paris. His father came from Brittany, which explains Gérard's fascination with the sea. From a young age, he studies the violin and the piano at the Music Conservatory in Bordeaux. His dream was to become a musical conductor, but finally at the age of 15 he swapped his conductor's baton for a paintbrush. His talent was soon confirmed and he finally pussued his passion, giving rise to a whole series of important works and masterpieces, the fruits of several years spent in the service of art.
Today, Gérard Le Roux's works are highly regarded by collectors of art. He is currently receiving his international clientele in his 'Tropezien' port of call.
